A signed watercolor and ink drawing on poster board titled, Zinzinnati Oktober Fest circa 2011, by Cincinnati Visionaries and Voices artist, Courttney Cooper. This very unique drawing is a tribute to the authentic German festival that takes place ever fall known as October Fest, which takes place in Cincinnati, as well as all over the world, with the largest celebration in Munich, Germany. This particular piece of artwork depicts several popular Cincinnati monuments including Fountain Square, Union Terminal, and the Reds baseball stadium, along with German flags in black, red and yellow, beer mugs, barrels, and other Bavarian elements throughout. The drawing also includes various writing in black ink from top to bottom, which is signed and dated by the artist in the lower right corner.
Visionaries and Voices is a non-profit organization, established in 2003, that is based in the greater Cincinnati area who specializes in providing artistic, cultural, and professional opportunities for artists with disabilities. Their goal as a company is to give these visual artists the proper tools and support they need to become successful while still having fun, including studio space to work, supplies, exhibition opportunities, and much more! There are currently more than 125 artist who actively contribute to the arts community through educational, creative, and strategic partnerships with local and regional artists, as well as schools and businesses too.
