Vintage Korean Elm Chest

A wonderful vintage Korean gilt metal chest. This gorgeous cabinet was constructed of elm wood with a light mahogany finish and highlighted with cherry veneers. This cabinet has three small drawers at the top with two sets of recessed panel doors leading to three shelves for storage and two additional drawers on the bottom. This entire piece is adorned with metal and brass gilding attached with metal tacks and boasts beautiful butterfly hinges on the doors. The chest sits atop twin-shaped supports. This piece was purchased in Korea by our client.
