Showa Period Urushi Haori with Metallic Floral Medallions
Item Details
A Showa period (1926-1989) Japanese urushi haori in black chirimen silk woven with metallic thread in gold, silver, red and green to create a large scale floral pattern. The one of a kind jacket has the same pattern on beige silk used as the lining.
Condition
The garment is in very good condition and has been stored properly folded in a rice paper sleeve.

24.0" W x 12.0" H x 1.0" D
The kimono measures 49" wide with the sleeves extended. The shoulder to shoulder measurement is 24" and the haori is 34" in length.
