Antique Three-Piece Dominick & Haff Sterling Silver Tea Set
Item Details
An antique three-piece Dominick & Haff sterling silver tea set, circa 1891. This collection includes three pieces, a small teapot, sugar bowl and creamer bowl. The teapot has a floral swag with ribbon motif to the sides. The top has the same design with a bulbous finial and the handle top has a leaf type design. Also included is the matching creamer and open sugar. The pieces are marked to the bottom with the Dominick & Haff maker’s mark which includes the 1891 date mark. They are marked ‘sterling 150’ along with the retailer’s mark for Hyman Berg & Co. The pieces are presented in a cloth bag that reads ‘Naken Holloware Bags made with Pacific Silversmith Prevents Tarnish’. The approximate total weight including precious and non-precious materials is 15.965ozt.
