An antique J. Haller dry point engraving on woven paper. This framed under glass piece depicts a small house resting along the edge of a one-boat harbor with a sailboat moored to the small dock. This inlet is engraved by the dry point method as can be seen by the slight smearing near the wooden dock posts and elsewhere. Along the top of the piece is an ink copyright by Radtke Lauchner, New York 1893, and the bottom reveals a lightly sketched remarque next to J. Haller’s authentic signature. Piece is set into a tiger striped, naturalistic wood frame with a modern bracket screwed into the back for hanging.
