An antique International Time Recording Company time clock. It is an early model time clock used by a company’s employees to clock in and out of work. The clock, manufactured in the early 1900s, is housed in a tall wooden case with a glass fronted door. The base of the clock has a time card slot and handles for operating the card punching machine. It is marked on the dial ‘International Time Recording Co. of New York Endicott, N.Y.’ The International Time Recording Company was formed in 1900 and later joined three other companies to form a new company that eventually became the International Business Machine Co. (IBM) in 1924.
