A dramatic machine-made Kashan-style area rug. It is made of synthetic fibers and features a deep garnet red field with a turquoise blue and white floral motif with lotus flowers and lobed flowers, palmettes and small foliate details. It has an ornate primary border with large rosettes and lotus flowers on a deep, contrasting blue-black field flanked by ivory guard borders having a floral and foliate design. The edges are overcast in deep red, and it has partial wool fringe to either end. Please note condition details.
