Folk Artist R.A. Miller "Blow Oskar Dinosaur Body" Drawing on Tin

A unique drawing done with marker on a vintage tin roofing tile titled, Blow Oskar Dinosaur Body by self-taught folk artist, Reuben Aaron Miller (American, 1912-2006), best known for his whirligigs, metal cutouts and drawings. This piece of artwork depicts a black and blue drawing of an abstract man with a large head on one side of the metal tile, which also features a blue child-like drawing of a horses body to the verso. The front of this piece is signed by the artist, ‘RA Miller’ with red marker in the lower right margin.

Condition

- Discoloration to metal, typical for type of material. Slightly faded. No wire or hook to verso. Each piece of artwork was immediately wrapped in plastic (after the photography and cataloging) for added protection.
