Partial Haviland Set in a Celadon Glaze
Item Details
A partial Haviland set in a celadon glaze. There are four dinner plates, seven salad, two dessert and three saucers. The collection also includes four cups and four broth bowls. The pieces have a celadon glaze (green glaze in the manner of Chinese ceramics) as the primary decoration as well as silver gilded lines surrounding a rust colored enamel as a border. The backstamp reads ‘Pate Celadon’ above a shield with Theodore Haviland France within. There is one other mark in a decal which is the same as the first but omits the ‘Pate Celadon’.
