A Panamanian Kuna mola blouse. This traditional textile comprises a vibrantly-colored reverse applique process attributed to the Kuna Indians of the San Blas Islands of Panama. The bold floral print blouse has a scoop neck, puffed short sleeves and a peplum waist. The body of the blouse is made of an intricate vibrant hand-crafted textile depicting a figure playing an instrument, large leaves and an abstract foliate pattern. The same theme but varied images are present to each side.
