A Capodimonte figure group of a courting couple. The piece depicts a seated couple, the boy wearing short pants, a vest and holding posies; and a girl wearing a pink hat with flower in hand. The base is green, with bocage flowers and a molded base with an impressed ‘N’ within a cartouche. The grouping bears a underglaze stamped mark in black, with a crown over an ‘N’ (for Naples), ‘Capodimonte’ and ‘Made in Italy’. This a modern mark.
