Antique Bronze Art Nouveau "Handel" Lamp with Slag Glass Shade, Signed

An antique Art Nouveau Handel table lamp with a slag glass shade, both signed. The bronze base is slender and elegant at the column with the original acorn pull chain at the socket and the overlay shade is the tulip design with gold slag glass.
Philip Handel founded the Handel Lamp Company in Meriden, CT., his company was noted for producing a wide range of lamp bases and shades. During the companies golden years, the showroom in New York sold to upper class consumer.

Condition

The lamp was tested to be working, the slag glass shade has three cracks and one support arm has been soldered.
