Joy Weddle Sterling and Porcelain Pendant
Item Details
A Joy Weddle sterling and porcelain pendant. The oval-shaped pendant setting features a rope border, with stylized, scalloped leaf edging, and a rope-like hanging loop at the top. Held in the setting is a flat-back white porcelain slab, with the image of a Native American wearing traditional costume, which is hand-painted in colored enamels. The painting is signed ‘Joy’ to the right side of the painted figure, and ‘Joy Weddle 1978’ to the verso. The pendant setting is marked ‘sterling’, along with the maker’s stamp.
