A Cambodian temple rubbing depicting dancing apsaras, female spirits of the clouds and water in both Hindu and Buddhist mythology. The black rubbing depicts three crowned apsaras dancing upon blooming lotus flowers. This was likely taken at Bayon Temple at the center Angkor Thom. Please follow the links below for more information on Angkor Thom and the original apsara reliefs. The rubbing is mounted with a white mat in a medium tone wood frame. The print is presented behind double mats, under glass, and within a black frame.
