An offset lithograph on fabric mounted to board, depicting a 15th century Russian icon titled St. Demetrius of Thessalonica. This historic Russian work features Demetrius of Thessalonica, a military saint from the 4th century, and was originally created at the Church of St. Barbara in Pskov by a member of the Pskov School. Russian text appears to the left and right of the work, and the original Russian label is affixed to the back. Unframed with hanging wire present to verso.
