The sellers of this car are the original owners, having bought the car new in December 1965 from a dealership in Danville, Virginia. They drove the car for about two years, after which they kept it in their garage and only took it out on special occasions. In 2004, they had the car restored by a company in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, chronicling the process through a series of photographs. The sale of the vehicle includes the original parts, which are all stored in the trunk of the car, and the photo album showing the entire restoration process.
