A signed N.P. Steinberg limited edition etching. This print is titled Talmudist and features an elderly bearded Palestinian man reading Jewish texts, shaded with fine hatch and cross-hatch lines throughout. It is numbered ED/100 at left and signed N.P. Steinberg at right. Matted and framed under glass with hanging wire to back.

Nathaniel P. Steinberg (Palestine, 1893-1976), also known as N.P. Steinberg, was an artist active in Chicago, Illinois. He won the 1953 Gold Medal Palette & Chisel Academy of Fine Arts award.
