A Chippendale style settee. This settee features a rich mahogany construction with a yoke shaped top rail with carved foliate and scrolling details. The back splats are pierced with curved, scrolling and leaf details and carvings. The piece has three-quarter length arms, foliate detailed upholstery in organic tones and knees carved with acanthus leaves. The piece rests on claw-and-ball feet at the front.
