A 1930s Royal Doulton bone china plate, ‘Aborigines in Corroboree Dress.’ The plate depicts four Australian Aborigine dancers in body paint and headdress, standing prepared to dance in a corroboree, a communal dancing tradition. The plate is in darker tones, with light blue, white, and pink near the top, at the sky. Number D 6420, marked to reverse.
