Antique Eastlake Walnut Cylinder Roll Top Desk

Item Details

An antique Eastlake cylinder roll top desk. The desk is crowned by a rectangular slab of chocolate marble. The marble sits above a solid walnut framed and burl walnut veneer cylinder desk top. The cylinder desk top rolls back to reveal a pull out writing surface and divided organizational area. The interiors of the storage areas and writing surface are painted a vermilion red. Below the desk portion is a set of three drawers with burl wood panels and original brass hardware. The desktop and drawers are flanked by intricately carved roundel, foliate, and reeded designs.

Piece has been restored from original condition. Slight splintering of wood on upper storage area. Visible scratches to surface
