A chromolithograph Knights of Pythias membership certificate. The Knights of Pythias is a benevolent fraternal organization that takes its name from the Greek legend of Damon and Pythias. The richly colored certificate has a series of vignettes illustrating classical and modern events surrounding the member certification space, left blank in this case. It is framed in a wide natural finish wood frame with gilt liner.

- gilt liner slipping loose from upper left corner of wood frame.
