The original portrait is rendered in pencil or graphite on heavy paper, depicting famous jazz musician, Thomas (Fats) Waller, and is signed ‘Joe Barros 76’ to the lower right. Joe Barros (American, 1920 – 2011) was the head illlustrator for the Denver Post newspaper for thirty years. The print comes with a white, oval mat board, and is unframed.
