A hand-colored restrike etching from plate 2 of the Bachelor’s Hall series by Francis Calcraft Turner (British, 1782-1846). The image depicts riders amidst an enthralling chase on the hunt. The work is housed behind glass a simple wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- some dirt and debris has been trapped behinf glass with age. Appeas to be water marks present to either side of image.
