Item Details
A collection of artisan-signed, handmade glazed stoneware pottery. There is a tall, round vessel with a constricted neck that flares outward at the top, which is glazed a dark, semi-translucent brown, with hand-painted brush strokes to the side, and is marked ‘Nicholas Sutton’. A small stoneware bottle has a round base and straight sides that are rounded toward the middle, then constrict at the neck, and is glazed in a dark metallic brown color (signed illegibly to the underside). A wide-mouth vase, glazed in black, ranging to translucent brown, has a round bottom with sides that widen toward the top, a short neck, and slightly flared rim, and is marked ‘Sutton’.
