A Chinese metal teapot. The metal lidded teapot is made of a bronze-tone heavy metal, with an applied oxidized finish in pale green and gold. The lid is decorated with a finial shaped like a beast, with a chain that is meant to be attached to a ring in the handle. To the front is the Chinese symbol for longevity; to the back is a Buddhist-related swastika symbol. No maker’s marks noted.

- chain from pot to lid is broken.
- oxidation throughout.
