Antique Sitzendorf Pitcher and Basin Set
Item Details
An antique Sitzendorf pitcher and basin set. The circa 1887-1900 pitcher and vase is made of glazed white stoneware or porcelain, with hand-painted cobalt blue accents. The pitcher features a round body, a tall, slightly flared neck and straight spout, with a branch-like handle, and is unmarked. The matching bowl, or basin, has a round foot, and is decorated with cobalt blue stripes to the rim, interior and exterior. Marked with a cobalt blue maker’s mark from the Sitzendorf pottery.
Condition
- Pitcher has a 4-inch crack by the spout
- Bowl is crazed
