Pair of Pottery Vessels

Item Details

A pair of pottery vessels. The pair includes a stoneware vessel with a round, narrow base, which gently flares outward toward the top, with rounded shoulders and a wide mouth, and is glazed in a soft tan color. It is marked with an incised maker’s mark to the underside (illegible). The other vessel has a wide, rounded bottom, somewhat straighter sides, and a neck with a slightly flared rim. It is made of earthenware, and glazed in white, with an overglaze of pale yellow-green drip glaze, and is marked with an incised symbol to the underside.
