A handwoven Bessarabian-style butterfly patterned wool rug. The hand-woven wool rug features a cream colored background with three dusky purple diamond medallions down the center and gray sawtooth edges. The diamonds contain butterflies and flowers, with more butterflies and gold colored stars decorating the field. The rug is bordered in black, and has cream colored hand-knotted fringe on the ends. Unmarked.
