An Anheuser Busch 2003 membership stein for 1936 historical advertising. This 10’ lidded stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte. It celebrates the history of Anheuser Busch advertising. The front of the stein features the brewery’s 1936 ‘Make This Test’ ad. This campaign challenged beer drinkers to try Budweiser beer for five days. On the sixth day they challenged you to drink a sweeter beer saying that you would want to go back to theirs. The back of the stein bears the company trademark of an A and an eagle. The pewter lid features a raised 4-sided 1 1/4’ tall ceramic triangle with the A&eagle trademark on each side. The pewter thumbrest has the dates 1876 and 1936. This stein is Individually numbered 02803.
