Antique "Perfecscope" Viewfinder
Item Details
An antique Perfecscope viewfinder. This viewfinder features an aluminum face mask with adjustable wooden viewing frame and floral motif etched along its sides. The viewfinder comes with vintage slides of wintery urban and rural scenes of the 19th Century. The viewfinder is marked ‘Exposition Universelle Internationale, HC White Co.’, and ‘Perfecscope – Trademark USA Patent Oct. 15, 1895’ and the slides are marked ‘Mentzer, Bush & Co. – Chicago, Illinois’ on one packet, and ‘Keystone View Company – Manufacturers and Publishers’ on the other.
