Collection of Civil War Military Belt Buckles
Item Details
A collection of five antique US military belt buckles, mostly American Civil War era. They include a Union army officer’s rectangular belt buckle with eagle motif, a circa 1890s version of the same, a Union naval officer’s belt buckle with an eagle clutching an anchor, an unidentified presumably naval buckle with an S-shaped sea serpent hook, and a Union infantry belt buckle reading ‘US’.
Condition
- to fair – most good with only minor metal discoloration, “US” buckle fair with cracks and rough edges.
