1944-1945 Walking Liberty Coins

A set of two 1944-1945 Walking Liberty half dollars. Obverse features a relief of Lady Liberty wearing a robe and holding a bushel in one arm, while the other reaches out before her. She is encircled by ‘Liberty’ and the date 1945. The sun and ‘In God We Trust’ flank her right and left sides, respectively. Reverse features a relief of an eagle with its wings spread, resting on a tree branch. The bird is encircled by the words ‘United States of America’, ‘E Pluribus Unum’ and ‘Half Dollar’.
