Haviland Limoges Porcelain Platter and Tureen, Circa 1889-1896

An antique Haviland Limoges Porcelain platter and tureen, circa 1889-1896. Platter features a rectangular form with ruffled trim and pink and blue floral transfers across the face. Underside is marked ‘The St. Lazare’ and ‘Haviland & Co. J.Mc. D & S.Co. Limoges’ in reddish orange letters. Turneen features a domed oval lid and a body similar to a kylix urn, complete with loop handles on the shoulders and cover. Delicate pink floral transfers line the perimeter of the lid and mouth. Gold tone paint accentuates the handles. The underside is marked ‘Theodore Haviland Limoges France’ and a ‘Hasbro Barge Columbus Ohio’ stamp in red.
