An original watercolor drawing on paper by contemporary Bangladeshi-American artist Kazi Ahmed. Ahmed and his wife, Cindy, are well-known for inventing a ‘rainbow brush’ technique of painting and creating tourist art in Key West, Florida. They are particularly well-known for their depictions of tourist’s names, such as this one which reads, ‘Joe.’ The letters are made from bright tropical fish, foliage, and boats. The piece is signed, dated, and labeled ‘Key West’ in black ink to the lower right. The piece is double-matted in bright green and blue and is presented behind glass in a thin matte gold tone metal frame with a hanging wire.
