Thomasville French Provincial Style Oak Dining Table and Chairs

Item Details

A Thomasville French Provincial style oak dining table and chairs. Features an elongated oval top with scalloped ends and a lattice parquetry design, and four cabriole legs with grooved accent carving. Skirt is adorned with floral relief carvings. The chairs are two different styles, but have similar fabrics and shapes. Both styles have a floral motif to the top rail with a similar white damask patterned upholstery. The wood tone is oak. Six of the dining chairs are original to the 1968 Thomasville table. Two out of that six are armchairs. The other four chairs seem to be made by Thomasville, as well, but have a more contemporary size. The larger chairs also have acanthus leaf embellishments on the splayed back feet.
