A 1990 original limited edition hand-pulled lithograph on fine Arches printmaking paper by internationally renowned and well-listed artist Jean-Claude Picot (France, born 1933), titled Regates a Cannes. The print depicts a loose, bright drawing of figures watching sailboats enter the bay in Cannes, France. Picot was strongly influenced by the Fauvist movement, a fact which shines through prominently in this piece. He has exhibited in over 50 one-person shows across the world. This print is signed and numbered 81/250 in pencil to the lower corners. It is double-matted in white and presented behind acrylic glass in a wooden frame with cast surface embellishments, gold tone finish, and a hanging wire. A Certificate of Authenticity from Park West Gallery in Michigan is attached to the verso.
