Linda Le Kinff Printer's Proof Seriolithograph "Ondine"
Item Details
An original printer’s proof seriolithograph by well-listed contemporary French artist Linda Le Kinff (1949 -), titled Ondine. The print is created in Le Kinff’s signature style, combining bright primary colors, thin black linework, and strong geometric forms. This print depicts a stunning young woman holding a tall pink flower. A black cat sits to the lower right; Le Kinff often uses this cat in her imagery ‘for graphic purposes, balancing the colors and composition of her work. It pulls together the black hair of the women in her paintings and provides a point of reference for the other shapes.’ The print is signed and labeled as printer’s proof 12/17 in pencil to the lower margin. It is matted in marbled red and is presented behind acrylic glass in a composite frame with matted black finish and a hanging wire.
