A group of seven German beer steins. Featured in this group is a military stein with pewter figurines of a horse and soldier and eagle on the lid, stamped ‘Original Gerzit W Germany’ on the bottom, a hand painted stein of a domestic scene with a man playing zither, marked ‘Germany’ on the bottom, a stein with cherubim, a Staffel Stoneware stein with a ceramic castle turret lid, a large stein with a postman and woman inscribed ‘Der langst ersehnte Brief’ near the bottom, an allegorical stein featuring Gambrinus and St. Salvator toasting to one another, and finally a hand painted relief stein featuring two men courting a woman, marked ‘Germany’ and number 1903 on the bottom.
