A cast concrete sculpture of a Buddha. This figure is seated with crossed legs, hands held clasped in front. It is presented with traditional symbolism including elongated earlobes to represent giving up material possessions to gain enlightenment and half-closed eyes to show meditation. It is topped with the ushnisha that is tied in an ascetic knot to show the expansion of wisdom. This has protective felt circles on the bottom.
