An offset lithograph after an original color lithograph titled Rachel dérobe les Idoles de son Père (Rachel hides her Father’s Household Gods) by Marc Chagall (1887-1985). The Russian-French artist created the original as part of his Drawings for the Bible series, between 1958-1960. This refers to Genesis 31:34, where Rachel hid her father Laban’s idols in a camel saddle and sat on them. This print is presented with a salmon toned matting, under glass, in a wooden frame, wired for hanging.
