Chippendale-Style Dining Table and Chair Set

A 20th century Chippendale-style dining table and eight chairs in a mahogany finish, the table having an inlaid and crossbanded top with gadrooned edges and D-shaped ends, all supported by a double-pedestal base with turned, acanthus leaf-carved standards, each standard rising on three, leaf-carved cabriole legs and ending in ball-and-claw feet. The chairs featuring shaped, leaf-carved crests with conforming stiles and pierced splats, above upholstered seats and shell-carved front rails, all rising on frontal cabriole legs with foliate-carved knees and ending in ball-and-claw feet. The table includes two leaves and pads.
