An antique Baccellieri Bros. Mfg. Co. wine press. Features a screwed metal post connected to a large cast iron bowl with a spout and three legs. A removable circular wooden gate with metal hoops and a hinged door rests on the bowl. Wooden plugs that fit snuggly around the screw post are then set on top of crushed grapes, and a metal arm applies pressure, causing the juice to pool at the bottom. The gate is adorned with a stamped metal plaque that reads ‘Baccellieri Bros. Mfg. Co. Fruit Press and Crushers, Factory Berlin, N.J. Offices Philadelphia, PA., US.’ Includes a crusher with cast iron rollers and a wooden frame, and a wooden hopper. Hopper is marked ‘Peters Seed Co. Cincinnati, Ohio’.
