19th Century French Rococo Style Walnut Armoire

A 19th century French Rococo style walnut armoire. This beautiful cabinet, purchased in London, is designed with a pair of curved-front cabinets to each side, with beveled cornices and bases, with each cabinet featuring an elaborately-carved door panel embellished with urns filled with fruits, scrollwork and curving acanthus leaves to the top, and a recessed panel to the base. To the armoire’s center is a lower mirrored-door wardrobe with beveled cornice and scrollwork and acanthus-accented panel to the top of the arched mirror. The left and right cabinets have upper shelves and brass hanging rods, along with several brass coat hooks, with the center cabinet designed with several open shelves and three drawers with recessed bale pulls.
