A 1918 National Cash Register Co. cash register. Features a metal body with a glass window, brass buttons, a porcelain platform, and a wooden drawer and base. The glass window displays metal price signs that pop up when an item is input. The curved face of the register features a door that lifts up to reveal a manual customer and sale counter, as well as the till amount. The register drawer can be opened by pressing the item price and then lifting the button back up. The wooden base is adorned with a brass plaque that reads ‘National Cash Register Co. Dayton, Ohio, U.S.A.’ Worked upon testing.
