A circa 1920s vintage Hudson’s Bay Company wool blanket coat. This coat is made of 100% virgin wool and has the classic yellow, black, green, and red stripes found in Hudson Bay’s point blankets. This double breasted coat features a removable pointed hood with black tassel, woven leather buttons, patch pockets with flaps, and matching belt. Tag reads ’Hudson’s Bay Point Blanket, Hudson’s Bay Company, Incorporated 1670, The Seal of Quality, Made in England’.
Condition
- good condition for age, shows some wear, finish on leather buttons is wearing off, some stains to collar.
