Henredon Provincial-Style Bedside Commodes of Bombe Form

Item Details

A pair of Henredon provincial-style bedside commodes of bombe form. Each mahogany-finished commode features a rectangular, crossbanded top with molded edges and outset corners. The bombe-form case has a stack of two machine-dovetailed drawers flanked by conforming, faceted stiles. The figured drawer fronts are fitted with scrolled, brass-toned pulls. The case rests on scrolled feet flanking a scalloped apron. The interior of one drawer is stamped ‘Henredon’ / ‘Furniture Industries, Inc.’ / Morganton, North Carolina’.
