Oil Pastels

A black and white serigraph ‘Love Came as the Wind’ features a fish-like entity and is signed, ‘L. Piper, 73’ to the lower right and hand written ‘To Elsie’ in the lower center. The other, a pastel portrait of a young woman signed, ‘Jack Piper, June, 1971’. John Wade ‘Jack’ Piper (American -2007), formerly of Columbus, Ohio, was a professional artist and musician who taught art at The Columbus College of Art and Design. The pastel is presented under glass with a blue mat and black and antiqued gold wooden frame. It has a wire to the back for hanging. The serigraph is taped to a board.
