A vintage five gallon Standard Oil can. This metal oil can features a circular opening to the top of the domed metal lid, a swinging wire handle with a wooden grip, four rib lines ringing the body of the cylindrical can, a flat base, and a message in relief near the top which reads ‘Property of The Standard Oil Co. (Ohio) Must Not Be Sold Or Loaned’.

Condition

- some dents to the can, especially to the lid.
- tarnish visible on the can.
