Antique Quarter Sawn Oak Sideboard

An antique quarter sawn oak sideboard. This piece is topped by an upper shelf and backsplash decorated by applied carved acanthus leaves. It is held by turned pilasters with two small shelves and a solid back featuring a scalloped beveled edge mirror. The serpentine front sideboard contains two top drawers and a long drawer with machine cut dovetails and two cabinet doors at the bottom enclosing an open storage space. It is decorated by applied carved accents and sits on wooden casters. Key is missing.
