A lucid lines photography on glass after listed artist Frederic Remington. This piece, titled Cheyenne Scouts Patrolling The Big Timber Of The North Canadian Oklahoma, depicts a pair of Cheyenne scouts on horses with a forest in the background, signed to plate ‘Remington’ to the bottom right hand corner. This piece features a rust-colored, hand painted border, ash backboard, and a stained pine frame. A label to the back gives information about the frame, piece, and Remington. Piece is ready to hang. Frederic Remington (1861 – 1909) was born in New York and attended art school at Yale University. After his father died, Remington chose not to go back to school, deciding to, instead, spend time camping, where he got his first glimpse of the western world.
